After 12 days from last time's post and the blogging "hiatus" event, time really passes very quickly.
From DOHA to Christmas Day, then comes the end of 2006. Many things had happened and it's really interesting that each time we reach the end of the year, it's hard to believe that we had gained much more experience from an individual's last encounters.
The Philippines really loved vacations and I'm one of those persons who loved to have one. But, it will rather be my busy days when I'm in a "vacation".
Then again, as the year approaches to an end, I'll just hope that consistency of doing tasks will be present next year, and it will be one of my goals to achieve.
Anyways, Happy Holidays to all of us and a blessed New Year for all of us !!!
(NOTE: Today's the last day of the year.)

Blogging Hiatus
For a double entry today, my blog here will resume until sometime in December due to busy schedules. Just watch out for newer entries this December.
Closed System (Part 2 of ...)
After a month had passed, I had realized that I get to break thorugh the "closed system". The reason is because everything's just getting started, and this kind of "drama" is not yet the so-called "fixed scenario". So, I am glad that things are getting well. For a month's hiatus here, I already forget what had happened last month, so it will be up to here for now.

Closed System (Part 1 of ...)
Last September 15, 2006, I experienced a lonely moment at that time, and I really do not know why. Although I recognized the persons I am with, it seems that they do not bother interacting with me or something, it is really that hard for me. But, I know that there is a reason as to why I am in a "closed system", not being able to break the "system boundaries".

Yasuhiro Imagawa interview
* Report courtesy of http://aeug.blogspot.com
First off, the staff of Gunota Headlines would like to thank Silver Khosla for giving us the opportunity to submit questions to Yasuhiro Imagawa, director of G Gundam. The submitted questions were asked by Mr. Khosla and translated by Takayuki Karahashi, a well known translator in the anime/manga industry. Mr. Imagawa was a guest at the recent CNAX 2006 event.
Q) When you first signed on for G Gundam, you thought you’d be directing a traditional Gundam series. Was there a preliminary, unused story plan for a war-type Gundam series before you found out it would be about the Gundam Fight?
A) Yes. The name was Polcarino no Gundam (sp?). An Italian name.
Q) There have been various stories over the years about how sponsors (Bandai, etc.) or staff members have influenced or changed the original plans for an anime in production. On a given anime, exactly how much influence does each of these parties have relative to one another, especially on something like Gundam?
A) Back when G Gundam was made, previous Gundam series were too much for children, too sophisticated. Toys sales were a bit sluggish. G Gundam was created to appeal to children. That’s why the Gundam fight was conceived. It was more interesting and not a war story.
Now these parties are more specific and have more pull. For an example, today’s producers are older and more specific in what they want to bring in higher ratings. Producers are somewhat equal in thinking with creators.
Q) Are you satisfied with G Gundam’s place in the long history of Gundam?
A) I'm very happy with G Gundam’s place in the history of Gundam. Especially since it’s considered heretical. I feel it’s a success since some people actually want to erase G Gundam from the history. (laughing) It just goes to show how much people think about it.
Q) Several of your works seem to leave themselves deliberately open for sequels (such as the 'See You Again Gundam Fight 14' message at the end of G Gundam, and Giant Robo setting the stage for the final battle between the IPO and Big Fire.) Was this done in hopes of encouraging other people to step up and try their hand at the ideas?
A) That is not the case. For example, with the Gundam Fight, it was done in jest. I wanted to capture the Olympic spirit.
In Giant Robo, it was meant to show that the world still goes on after within the context of the story. G Gundam fans can speculate on their own. That’s why it’s great that individuals with their own views can speculate and use their imagination.
Q) Many of your works have Chinese influences. Where do you draw your inspiration from?
A) The "Legend of Condor Heroes" novel.
Q) You were initially placed in charge of the OVA "Getter Robo: The Last Days On Earth". However, after the first batch of episodes, you were reportedly replaced. How much would you say the rest of the series differed from what you had had in mind for it?
A) It should be a very different story. The reason for leaving was a very long story and unpleasant. So I didn’t want them to use my idea and I hope it turned out inconsistent. Only the first three episodes reflect my ideas. If you pay attention, you can see that there are embedded plot developments in the first three episodes that are not resolved that I didn’t let them use.
Q) The animation industry in Japan seems to be stagnant while in China and Korea, there looks to be a comparative amount of growth. What are your thoughts regarding the situation?
A) I concur. The biggest reason I feel so far is the Japanese industry has stopped nurturing their own talents.
Q) Japan is quickly becoming the leader in robotic technology. How much inspiration do you think anime & manga has given Japan’s current robotics industry?
A) I think anime & manga has given a lot of inspiration. Just look at Tetsuwan Atom (Astro Boy in English) and Gundam. It has given notions of how to progress in robotics.
Q) Do you have any involvement in the newly-announced Giant Robo anime?
A) None. I have started a new Giant Robo manga that is independent of that.
Q) What’s going on with your Tetsujin 28 movie? And can you talk about any other current projects you might be working on?
A) The Tetsujin 28 movie has been completed but shelved. It was finished last September but however it is not a good movie. It was a troubled project from the beginning. These troubles are reflected in the film. Currently, I’m scripting Souten no Ken and Bartender. Also, there are other projects for next year which I cannot disclose at this time.
Q) Do you have a dream project you would *like* to work on?
A) Yes. In fact, two titles now are close to dream projects. It might be mentioned in magazines now if you research it. As you may have noticed, I am shifting from directing to scripting.
Again, we would like to thank Mr. Imagawa, Mr. Khosla, and Mr. Karahashi for allowing us to post this.

Flood / Thoughts
As a continuation with the nightly rain, tonight is the time that the rain cause a great flood within our area because of the strong force that the rain exertedto us. Aside from the flood, my operating system seemed to have gone nuts because the registry suddenly experienced a failure, and it might already caused a big problem. But thankfully, a solution is provided immediately to counter it. However, the solution is still not an assurance for me to lower my guard because problems will be expected soon, which is analogous to the situations I experience now in life.
Hopefully, the rain will no longer cause more floods as it will be very difficult for some of us to survive it. Nevertheless, even as we do other stuff, some things are really inevitable as they will really occur no matter how much we work to stop it, such as the rain tonight, which is not really expected to be this strong and fierce. The weather is cool but the consequences are not likely to be in favor of us.

Week / End
After a lot of rainy days and sunny days in the past months, we still came to a point that we are crossing over many weekends. Weekends are simply the best part of a week, and nothing is better than this part of the week. A lot of work also meant a reward of plenty of rest as well. Since every hard times as an end, and every drama has an end, a weekend has an end too. So, I found out that saving most of the time during weekends is a good ideas to maximize your vacation during the days that you were stuck in a middle of something or being squeezed by various situations in which you can never thought that you are doing the things that you cannot normally do. Since many things have happened, a weekend is a good way to recap things.

Stuck / Wrapped
It's already late right now, but still had work to do.
So, it was rainy this week, and classes were suspended on this week's Monday and Tuesday. even with these 2-day vacation, it was still not enough to finish my tasks and remove my doubts. I felt doubtful this week on most of my decisions, yet I must muddle though all of the things around me right now. With minds not set very well, it is really a challenge for me right now, and even as I post here, time is running fast, and my ideas were not fast enough to race with time.
This is it, the worst thing I think right now is how to get out of the "hole" I am stuck in these days.

Work / Fear
A short entry for today's post: I am feared to see the result of my work this week, and I leave to God and the flow of things. Quite an interesting chapter of my life this week. :D

Red / Fire
Eyes are important to us, and it is about time that I get my eye strain yesterday. It feels uncomfortable to have one eye getting strained (the eye is color red), and worst of all, it disabled me a lot. I didn't get to finish more things than usual, and it also had the feeling of getting "burned".
For today, I just wanted to remind myself a simple matter - to avoid eye strain, and of course, to let me know that having the gift of sight is a blessing, and should be use properly. That is how important the eyes are.

Desperation / Doom
Yesterday, it was a "doom's day" for me because I am overwhelmed by the difficulty of the exam or rather by my shortcomings such as missing an easy task or flunking the hard ones. I can only say that I really wanted to make that day as another pointer for me to strive harder, and achieve the maximum.
Despite the circumstances yesterday, I began to realize that my doubts once again stopped me from succeeding. These words written now might be one-of-a-kind in my everyday life. But, that doesn't change the situation despite expressing my thoughts into verbal form. So, I will just simply forget this "doom's day" and start something new.
For today, it is raining violently and flooding continuously, despite the typhoon's going away from the country according to the news media, and the worst of all, classes are only called off when it reached the time that floods had already disspated, and not the times when the floods are high. Now that classes are called off, it is time to recover some things, and make way for all things.

Challenges / Confusion
It's been quite a while since I've updated this site.
So, what I can say is that I am pretty confused ever since the start of classes. I'm experiencing the so-called 'anti-social' syndrome, which is really against my own character.
Dating back from May 22,2006, I was still very lazy to attend my class, but life really didn't permit to cut classes as it is the right thing to do. This day is the day I'm adjusting my schedule because it had the '6-hour break' curse, and I won't allow that to happen. So, this is really a day of hassle for me.
Then, for the 2nd week, everything's still pretty smooth, even if I had constant doubts regarding my decision-making abilities. My social life is really not going well too because I'm having a hard time dealing with people
For the 3rd week to 5th week from May 22 (excuse me for my bad grammar, if ever), the reign of the exams began to shroud my whole space, and some of these exams gave me the 'chills' because I am not sure of what I am doing. In other words, doubt again. Also, some activities are not in favor of me, yet I must still participate. (Just guess what are these activities.) But, one change is that I get to know new people. This 'knowing of people' incident is still not a very good one, as it only happened through coincidence and I don't know how did I get to know them. (Weird...)
As of now, I'm in the 6th week of my school life, and I can still expect more from whatever life is going to throw at me. I'm really confused right now, even I'm in front of my monitor doing things...

HP Matters
Finally, it's about time that vacation will end. So, a special post will be made. :D
So far, I'm having quite a great time this vacation. But, my ear clogging has been bugging me these days, and now that a war is brewing again, keeping oneself in top shape is important. Also, as I post in certain blog sites, I'm getting more and more serious, and I don't know why.
These examples are probably some of the effects that might our health, and we should be concern with it because early prevention is better than making it worse. We cannot let it become the so-called "better late than never".

Period of Wars
It's been quite some time since I have last visited here.
First of all, everything is at war because I only cetaed this post by chance, and I am using the computer too by chance. This is due to the 'pressure' that is overshadowing the home I am living in now.
Second, the outside world is also the same. You can see the intensity of ball games such as the NBA playoffs, PBA and PBL games, and other sports which are too many to mention. These games have similar goals, that is to vie for supremacy.
Third, even the political world shares the same goal - supremacy. The people involved in this profession are struggling for power.
I'm not pointing out the things mentioned above just to complain, but to stress that we cannot live foreevr in a peaceful world, we are fighting for it, and it is pretty clear that those who cannot cope up continues to get weaker and those who are too agressive will be the ones who will advance further. This entry is quite special for me since I am also having a hard time using the computer, as well as watching TV, even at home.
I am still here at the society to fight what I am fighting for, even only for 12 days. :D

Bulletin Boarder
* This entry comes from a bbs. Just read it anyways
HOW A 7 YEAR OLD EXPLAINS SEX
Little Johnny was 7 years old
and like
other boys
his age rather
curious.
He had been hearing quite a bit
about 'making out'
from the older boys, and he wondered
what it was
and how it was done.
One day he took his question to his
mother, who
became rather flustered. Instead of
explaining
things to Johnny, she told him to hide
behind the
curtains one night and watch his older
sister and
her boyfriend.
This he did. The following morning,
Johnny
described EVERYTHING to his mother.
"Sis and her boyfriend sat and talked for
a while,
then he turned off most of the lights.
Then he
started kissing and hugging her. I
figured 'Sis must
be getting sick, because her face started
looking
funny.
He must have thought so too, because he
put his
hand inside her blouse to feel her heart,
just the
way the doctor would. Except he's not as
smart as
the doctor because he seemed to have
trouble
finding her heart. I guess he was getting
sick too,
because pretty soon both of them started
panting
and getting all out of breath.
His other hand must have been cold
because he
put it under her skirt.
About this time 'Sis got worse and began
to moan
and sigh and squirm around and slide
down toward
the end of the couch. This was when her
fever
started. I knew it was a fever, because Sis
told him
she felt really hot.
Finally, I found out what was making
them so
sick......-a big eel ;had gotten inside his
pants
somehow. It just jumped out of his pants
and
stood there, about 10 inches long,
honest, anyway
he grabbed it in one hand to keep it from
getting
away.
When Sis saw it, she got really scared-her
eyes
got big, and her mouth fell open, and
she started
calling out to God and stuff like that. She
said it
was the biggest one she's ever seen; I
should tell
her about the ones down at the lake by
our house!
Anyway, Sis got brave and tried to kill the
eel by
biting its head off. All of a sudden she
grabbed it
with both hands and held it tight while he
took a
muzzle out of his pocket and slipped it
over the
eel's head to keep it from biting again.
Sis lay back and spread her legs so she
could get
a scissor-lock on it and he helped by lying
on top
of the eel. The eel put up a hell of a
fight.
Sis started groaning and squealing and
her
boyfriend almost upset the couch. I guess
they
wanted to kill the eel by squashing it
between
them.
After a while they both quit moving and
gave a
great sigh. Her boyfriend got up, and sure
enough,
they killed the eel. I knew because it just
hung
there, limp, and some of its insides were
hanging
out.
Sis and her boyfriend were a little tired
from the
battle, but they went back to courting
anyway. He
started hugging and kissing her again. By
golly,
the eel wasn't dead! It jumped straight up
and
started to fight again.
I guess eels are like cats- they have nine
lives or
something. This time, Sis jumped up and
tried to
kill it by sitting on it. After about a 35
minute
struggle, they finally killed the eel. I knew
it was
dead, because I saw Sis's boyfriend peel
its skin
off and flush it down the toilet.

The End of an Old Beginning (Part 3 of 3)
I've been complaining about my busy life, but I realize it is better to be this way. A busy life can be a productive life, and I'm sure that it will help me a lot in the future.
That's all for now, and this short entry will help me remember what life is.

The End of an Old Beginning (Part 2 of 3)
As I continue to follow the schedule that is not planned by me, I felt that time is really short and I cannot find a time to have some recreation, or it is only time management problems. Also, when I'm in the middle of helping business stuffs, I felt that time is getting even shorter, even it really benefits my future a lot. I cannot ignore the fact that getting busy is part of my life, and there is no way I can avoid it.

The End of an Old Beginning (Part 1 of 3)
Finally, a schoolyear has ended and it will resume sometime in May. Even it is vaction, problems are here to keep my everyday life busy. Of course, problems make me happy and bored as well, which is my concept during my boring days and vacation. Despite of these few non-sense, it makes sense to me as it is happening to me right now.

A Day's Second Strike
Well, today is a double entry. But still, here goes...
Today's very hot and even it's vacation, there's still a lot to do. Best of all, this entry is just a "filler" , and there's nothing special in it.
Don't worry, even if I'm talking non-sense, I'm still myself, and this is just to "exhaust" my complex thoughts.
* This entry is for the late April Fool's day. So, don't be irritated while reading this. :D

Survived a Part of a School Year
Finally, a million thanks to God that I've passed one out of the many hard subjects I'm taking right now as an undergraduate C__ E__ student. (Just guess.)
Also, I pray to those people who have tried their best, and that they will overcome the obstacles that are yet to come. (This line is dedicated to fellow people who have flunked.)
Anyways, I thank God once again that I've survived, and may He help the people to do their part well.

Electronics
* Here's another filler for today's entry. (This can also be found at http://marvinjs.blogspot.com)
In a world of complex movements, one instrument simpliefies it all, that is eletronics.
To define this instrument, electronics are devices that are used to support and work out things through the use of power and electricity. These are electrical appliances, tools, gadgets, and machines. A cellular phone enables people to communicate wirelessly. A computer is a multimedia tool for doing better work. A radio is a device used to listen to music and radio station programs. These are the benefits that we get from electronics. Electronics play an important role in our daily life, and the key for technological development. It also served as the backbone of the information technology that will soon be an important sector of modern day living.

English: Bridge of Math and Science
*Well, it's another post for a long-time break from this site. So, here's a filler for this blog. :D (This can also be found at http://marvinjs.blogspot.com)
According to George E. P. Box, all models are wrong, but some are useful. As for education, the logic will still be the same. An example to the expanding content of academic subjects is English. English is said to be the key course in developing a person’s professionalism, as well as his character. On the other hand, math and science courses are also important in applied English, and the national development as well. When all of the subject matters are combined, they can produce great achievements. By placing English as the foundation, math and science will serve the construction of different ideas to be used in technical work, everyday living, and the nation’s development.
First and foremost, all of the technical explanations of math and science will came from English itself. To begin with, English courses are important in strengthening a person’s mathematical knowledge. When a person, learns the language, it follows that he/she will be able to figure out the meaning of the words. This is the same as using English in understanding difficult math problems, which will sharpen a person’s analytical skills. Through this process, a person will improve his weaknesses in mathematics, and learn from his mistakes as well.
Mind sharpening is just the starting process, and English has still more to give. When a person has undergone enough practice in solving math problems, it is now time to use it in certain applications, and math teaches him/her how to do it. In creating real life math applications, a person must be acquainted in English knowledge in order to use it in interpreting mathematical calculations of certain math subjects such as algebra, calculus, differential equations, and other higher math. Through learning English, he/she can use the math equations in creating a plan which will serve as a basis for succeeding steps in the construction of new things. It will also enable certain product developers to further improve their technological studies because it can provide him/her more information about the functions of his products, its flaws, current advantages, and possible capabilities, which are all made through mathematical calculations. An example is the subject of kinematics, wherein the movements of objects are extensively studied in order to apply them to technical works such as variable movements of robotics and machines, their action-reaction mechanism, programming of the robot’s movement pattern, the structure of a machine’s moving components, and their performance limits.
As we can see, English has a wide range of applications, especially in math and mind training. It can use math to do something useful, and it includes the country’s development. When a country’s economy is either improving or declining, we are using Statistics to know its flow, as well as its future outcomes. Statistics plays an important role in determining the economic status because through statistical calculations, a person can tell whether a certain economic sector requires attention, such as export problems, budget deficiencies, more product demands, overproduction of certain products, and the like. With this kind of math, we are able to see our economy, and through English, certain discussions will be conducted by the authorities so that they can discuss the negative factors, plan the necessary actions, and provide support to certain factories that had problems in production because of increasing demand. When the problems are resolved, the country will now experience a major progress because the country’s development was not hindered by the economic problems. It leads to faster industrial development by increasing the number of services provided by big companies, as well as helping the government through financial aids, with the help of English.
English is often used for addressing problems, such as diplomatic meetings, and various reforms. But, it can also help a person to become stronger by means of using English in expressing oneself. When it comes to improving a person’s character, certain ethics and proper values should be observed, and it is made possible through mathematical understanding. Analyzing math problems helps a person to discipline his thoughts, as well as improving one’s study habits, and enables him/her to centralize his concentration in doing tasks. Through these practices, a person will be more developed and his/her minds will be more flexible as well. These characteristics will now lead a person in practicing professionalism, which means that he/she will be more decisive, more capable of handling difficult tasks, can manage his/her time very well, and prioritizes certain activities. An example is when people is concentrating, he/she can do the task well, which will enable him/her to practice handling many tasks properly if given to him/her in the future. All of these factors will practice a person to become more capable of managing himself/herself, and independent as well.
Besides English and math, there is still science. Science is known to be the refinement of things, but it could not be possible without the help of mathematical equations and English language. English is very important in explaining the topics in science because its certain topics cannot be visually understand without the help of verbal English. On the other hand, science can also help in working out things through the use of concepts and theories that enables a certain phenomenon to occur. It is known to us that the best way to understand is to have a good explanation, and English courses provide the solutions for scientific mysteries.
Aside from science, its product called technology, shows importance in this study because it is the application of what people have learned in science. Science is bounded by various concepts and theories, which are very difficult to put into action. So, in order to understand certain scientific phenomenon, science is turned into technology so that its complex theories will be easily seen through applications, such as microwave ovens, and pressure cookers. Also, science can be a basis for promoting national development because certain government projects utilizes civil engineering sciences to construct roads, bridges, drainages, buildings, and various infrastructures, and this cannot be possible without depending on certain laws of sciences. These are some of the products of scientific experiments, and its applications can still expand with the help of scientific discoveries and English.
With English applied to science, technology can now be put into real life, and science will do the job in improving technology. But, for all of these factors to be put to action, English must be properly used in making a project outline, giving way to a more simple development plan. Also, English grammar is important in defining a complex scheme for a certain project and it should be backed up by keywords so that instructions will be easier, lessening the constructional flaws.
English courses, when carefully studied and applied, transform science into experimental models of certain products so that its construction and development will reach its final stage. Nevertheless, it can even explain literally the complex applications of science. When a person is trying to develop some kind of gadget using scientific concepts, he/she will need the details that govern the principles behind the phenomena, such as the physics of electricity, and computer science in order to activate the gadget’s functionality. Also, when its experimental models are manufactured, a scientific study will be conducted to confirm its functionalities, and the science applied to it, such as the car’s proper functions of engine mechanism, its movement mechanism, and the speed it can travel, which uses mechanical engineering sciences. These can be simplified by breaking its scientific factors into English definitions. English is very important in terms of development and explanations because it simplifies the analysis of scientific concepts, and technological applications.
So far, we have been classifying math and science separately. But, we must realize that these two subjects are meant to be one. So, English is the key to help math and science combine their differences. It is made possible through setting up mathematical equations of a certain situation, which translates the behavior of the situation, and science will now translate the calculations which will yield an explanation, such as the usage of free body diagrams in solving physics motion problems For the end product, English will explain the resulting concepts used that enables us to produce technology.
As we have seen, math and science must go hand-in-hand to produce something. The first step is to use math as the foundation of scientific explanations. Then, math will now check the validity of various scientific phenomena through using English in explaining the processes involved in both math and science, such as using calculus in determining the amount of light absorbed by the photosynthesis of the leaf.
When the application is ready for testing, it must go through various experiments in order to assure in order to assure a stable product. It is done through studying its functions, such as machine capabilities and reactions towards the environmental actions, which are all needed to formulate hypothesis that will serve as the production basis. Lastly, English will be the catalyst of the production speed through guided instructions, managerial skills, and interpreting skills.
After undergoing the long processes, technology is now produced. It is noticeable that the product made is the result of the combination of math and science. A very prominent example is the high-speed TGV train, wherein it utilizes math to calculate its travel speed, speed variations, and speed limits before it is deployed within the area. Then, it is also backed up by science which governs its movement, structural specifications, and control maneuvers. All of these factors produce the technology of a high-speed transportation.
Therefore, it is now strongly evident that the nation’s technological development is the result of the countless efforts of English language to the integration of mathematics and science. In a stepwise process, science will conduct the experiments while math calculates its validity. Finally, English will translate various experiments and calculations made by the two subjects. Just imagine, without those subjects, our future will be very hard to imagine.

Zeta III Movie Review
After being away for so long, here's a comeback with the review of Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam: A New Translation III - Love is the Pulse of the Stars , courtesy of Gunota Headlines.
Story - The movie is based on Ep 33, the last part of Ep 34, Ep 43, Ep 44, Ep 45, Ep 46, Ep 47, Ep 49, and Ep 50. Kilimanjaro, Dakar, and all events related to Rosamia (except the end) were elimated from the movie. It did not stray from the overall TV plot and pretty much retconned Gundam ZZ.
The movie picks off where Zeta II concluded with Axis escorting the Argama to the Gwadan. The Argama sends their delegates (Won Lee, Char, Bright, Apolly, Reccoa, and Kamille) to negotiate with Axis, but talks break down as Char becomes furious at Haman. Char and the rest of the Argama members escape and Scirocco's Dogos Gear appears and attacks. The Radish's troops arrive to repel Yazan, but only after Yazan destroys the Methuss and takes Reccoa with him. Afterwards, Scirocco and his followers board the Gwadan to make a pact with Haman. (Ep 33, 34)
Fearing the Gryps 2 colony laser and the Gate of Zedan (formerly known as A Baoa Qu), AEUG and Haman meet once again this time on the Argama. With a letter from Anaheim Electronics' Melanie Hue Carbine, AEUG approves the return of Zabi rule to Side 3 and, in return, Axis has to destroy Gryps 2 and the Gate of Zedan. Haman only agrees to the destruction of the Gate of Zedan. (new scenes like Henken being irritated and talking back to Haman were added while Abu Dabia, one of the characters that never made it into the TV series, was visible in the background as well). (Ep 43)
Haman meets with Jamitov. Talks break off and Haman tells Jamitov that Axis will ram into the Gate of Zedan. AEUG joins to attack the Titans. Apolly is killed, which starts the Kill 'Em All fest.
With the Titans losing the Gate of Zedan, Jamitov meets with Haman onboard Gwadan along with Scirocco. The movie stays 100% true to Ep 46 as Char fails to kill anyone, Scirocco offs Jamitov and duels with Haman. Katz's G-Defensor shoots at The O only to see Sara sacrifice herself to save Scirocco. Yazan's Hambrabi squadron, who already pledged their allegiance to Scirocco and still part of the crew of the Dogos Gear, finishes off Bask and the Dogos Gear.
AEUG commences Operation Maelstrom to take control of the colony laser. Like in the series, Haman and Kamille have their semi-Newtype bond with Kamille only partially damaging her Qubeley. AEUG takes control of the laser. While AEUG readies it, Char grabs the Mega Bazooka Launcher and fires at squadrons of Gaza C's. A three-way battle between Char, Haman, and Scirocco starts while Katz and Emma goes off to help the Radish. Katz crashes into an asteroid and dies like the TV series, Emma's Mk-II is trapped by Yazan. The Radish comes in to help only to be finished off by Yazan. Kamille takes out Jerid's Bound Doc, which blows up along with the Radish. After doing emergency repairs on Mk-II, Emma and Reccoa duel with Reccoa dying (unlike the TV series, Emma understands why Reccoa betrayed them). Emma receives fatal injuries from the Palace Athene debris. The fight between Char, Haman, and Scirocco continues inside the laser and in the theatre. Kamille joins in at the theatre as in the series. Everyone escapes right before AEUG fires the laser, destroying much of the Titans' fleet. Char vs Haman and Kamille vs Scirocco. Both battles are the same as the TV series as they used the most of TV animations. Kamille rams the Zeta (in waverider mode) into The O which kills Scirocco. Unlike the TV series, Scirocco does not cripple Kamille via mad-Newtype powers. (Ep 47, 49, 50)
The ending that no one has seen features Kamille replacing his helmet with a new one. Fa and Kamille hug each other in space with Saegusa (one of the Argama's bridge crew) broadcasting what they're saying. Amuro and Beltorchika look at the night sky at Fraw's place where Letz and Kikka watch the events going on in space on their tv/laptop(?). Mirai drives with the kids in the backseat sleeping, looking for an Earth Federation base. Kai is at Sayla's place as he wanted to interview her about Quattro (yes, Sayla speaks one line using previously recorded audio by the late You Inoue). Haman tells Mineva that she prepared a place on Earth for her. Haman tells her men to drop off Mineva at Side 3 and pulls the Axis Fleet from the Earth sphere. The end credits are the reverse of the Zeta I opening, starting at Earth and going beyond Saturn. Along the way, the Axis Fleet is seen.
Animation - Like the previous 2 movies, it was a mixture of TV and new animation. However, this time around, the new and old animation seemed to blend well, which sorta made it hard to gauge how much of it was new. What I noticed the most was the mixture of new and old images on the same frame (the character would be old animation while much of the background or MS would be new). The new animation made Axis more fearsome as they featured more fleets like in ZZ with appearance of multiple Endora class ships. Those with quick eyes might see what looked like a single GM Cannon II (from 0083 series) catapulting off the Argama.
Voice acting - With the same people returning, no complaints here. However, Sarah Zabiarov got a new make over as Kaori Shimamura replaced Chizuru Ikewaki. Watching Zeta III, Shimamura's peformance sounded better. However, fans might still prefer the original voice of Sara by Mizutani.
Overall impressions - Promising a happier Kamille and an ending no one knows, Tomino delivered it. However, the purists might say it came at a greater cost with the Kamille/Four tragedy at Kilimanjaro and Char's biggest speech in his life at Dakar being completely left out. Those events significantly impacted Kamille and turned the tide for AEUG as it gained the much needed public support. The next question is what was the point of Axis' coming and then leaving? As the movie pretty much retcons the events of ZZ (unless Haman decides to come back because she left something behind), they surely sacrificed a lot just to drop off Mineva and say "Hey, we missed you!" to Char. But who cares because when you are watching the movie, you don't think about it. The film had a great flow as things were not going at Mach 3 like Zeta II. Even those with little knowledge of Zeta should able to understand what's going on. Whether this Zeta Trilogy bridges the story between the MSG Trilogy and CCA is up to the fans though.
